The Founders

FOCUSOwn TheArts founders are Temeca and Todd Jones.  Temeca and Todd’s center of their companies’ goals have always been assisting youth in learning and education.  Through their company FUNducate, Todd has written and illustrated over 13 children’s books with Temeca as coauthor, self-publishing their series of books.  Temeca and Todd have 4 daughters in which all four of their girls are athletic and also talented in the arts.  They as The Jones sisters performed in several plays, singing at outreach events over the years, and acting in Cincinnati PBS TV show The FunBunch Playhouse written and directed by Todd and Temeca Jones. 

Their oldest daughter went to Butler Tech School of Performing Arts High School and upon graduation didn’t have colleges lacking support to pursue an education in the arts.  Their other 2 daughters graduated and since they played sports in high school and AAU/Club they had colleges recruiting them across the US. This is what encouraged Todd and Temeca to create FOCUSOwn TheArts in order to directly assist student pursuing the arts in college and/or career to have greater exposure and opportunities just like their athletic student peers.
